We’ve Got to Try

Context:

As someone who lived off an on in Texas growing up, We’ve Got to Try by Beto O’Rourke (for Flatiron Books) was an exciting project for me. In this title, he explores the importance of voting rights for a democracy through historical, travel, and sociological perspectives. The tone of the book is quite straightforward nonfiction, albeit with a powerful message. With this in mind, the cover featured just type so I did the same in the interior. The case is a solid blue to match the jacket and the type picks up the white type as well.
